Dr. Rothstein is an extremely knowledgeable veterinarian with a bedside manner that is 2nd to none. He truly cares about you and your pet. Further, the costs are very reasonable and not excessive.
I have been taking my dog here for the past two years. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The doctors are wonderful and provide excellent service. I trust this practice.
They treat my Shephard Kause like a king, the best customer service ever and they always pretend to know me with a loving smile that to me job quality!
These folks are just the best! Our four-legged family member gets very excited and eager when we turn into their parking lot. We started seeing Dr. Howard Rothstein, but now we just see whoever is available – they’re all great. Receptionists and aides, too.
I have yet to find another Vet that can be anywhere close to Saugerties Animal Hospital, their staff is sympathetic and understanding and you can genuinely feel like a person there. We have an older dog they are always happy to work with and they were always great when our puppy got into something to stop in and check him out. If I didn’t live almost 3 hours away, I would make the drive! You can’t find pet care as great as this!
I take my fur babies here, I would not bring them here if I didn’t think they would not receive top-notch treatment. Unfortunately, Covid has made it difficult to schedule appointments but I highly recommend Saugerties Animal hospital.
The veterinarians, the helpers, and the receptionists really like your pets and it is evident in how you and your “family” responds. Accurate observations, solid advice, and flexible and reasonable terms are typical of our experience here which is why we willingly drive 45 minutes to get here. They know what they are doing and do not BS!
